Double-Take for Hyper-V demonstrations on demand

Day 2 at Double-Take Software TechEd booth #809.
Rob Beeler, Vice President of Development is in the booth demonstrating the latest support for Hyper-V as well as discussing the latest release with customers and prospects. Other hot topics are Hyper-V support for the Double-Take Virtual Recovery Assistant as well as GeoCluster functionality. The Virtual Recovery Assistant will assist with the adaption of Hyper-V by simplifying the P2V conversion process while minimizing downtime. With the introduction of Windows 2008 failover clustering there have been many enhancements to what was previously known as MSCS. Having GeoCluster reside on Windows 2008 provides the ability to geographically disperse your clusters nodes to provide not only high availability but also disaster recovery. Because one of the enhancements to failover clustering is the removal of the 500ms cluster monitor limitation, cluster nodes can now be spread across greater distances. Patrick Foley, Microsoft Technical Evangelist by day and Cluster-Funk fiddle player by night, is also in the booth providing Hyper-V demonstrations and speaking to customers. Patrick is also sporting the latest in Double-Take fashion wearing a “Cluster-Funk in Paradise” t-shirt and getting primed for the Cluster-Funk Party tonight at Margaritaville.

Registration for the Cluster-Funk event at Margaritaville is required and seats are limited. To register click link here http://www.doubletake.com/misc/teched08.aspx
